Description

We create epic adventures that tickles your brain and melts your heart!

History

Early history

Exploding Cow is a tiny games studio founded by Dennis Nielsen and Jacob Sloth Laursen in the fall of 2013. We started working together during our studies, making a small browser game called Blendimals. Seeing the great potential in our little game, we then continued working closely together beyond our studies, making the iOS version of Blendimals at Jacobs flat. At some point we thought; “This is fun, let’s make a game company!“

Today

Even though we still are a young company we have quite a bit of experience, Jacob having worked as Game Programmer on several commercial projects after his studies, and Dennis being a Game Director student of The National Film School of Denmark with Plantman Episode 1 as his graduation project. Both of us being old school gamers we are strong believers that to make a truly great game, it should have a certain quality and depth to it, and if possible, an insane amount of easter eggs and attention to detail. We see a great potential in mobile games to be something more than just another endless runner, starting with our first two titles Blendimals and Plantman Episode 1.
